    Hey Ester,
Could you teach how to reduce or tighten the love handles? That would be awesome. Thanks = ]

Thank you for doing this. It’s great because I live in an isolated area where there just are no yoga classes! Unless I travel into the city which is not always possible. Cheers!

I’ve just started watching your videos, will look through them cause you might have done this already. but my request is for videos for us new mums. I’ve recently had a baby, have lower back pains and my son is getting heavier to carry each day. I want to work out at home during the day so I started looking into these videos. I want to strengthen my back and shoulders.

little buddha in the background wanted a closer look, so he slides over at the 37 and 1:30 second mark.

I love these shorter videos with a few poses at a time. I’m an extreme beginner and your videos are all so easy for me to follow and understand.

I really like the first one. I can really feel my abs on that twist. The second, well, I can try but cannot yet lift my butt and feet off the floor. Will keep trying!

Hi, it took me a while to get used to the first exercise but now I’ve got the hang of it I really like it.
Another of my favourite ab & core poses is from yoga for weightloss pt. 3, it is the one where you have the option of hooking your legs and then there are 3 parts to the excercise – lower abs, six-pack and core. It’s great to feel it working in different areas.
    Thanks again!

wow your amazing exersise programme, i used to go to Yoga class twice a week last year, but with to many work hours i dont have the time to do much now, is this a recommended routine to do early morning before breakfast? or at night before bed? i would like some advice what is best to get supple, flexable and feel alive in a short workout. Thanks.

@champakpopat Holding it for 8-10 breaths is enough. You could repeat it 2/3 times if you wanted. I personally could never do full boat pose till I went to my osteopath and he sorted my lower back out. Sacro iliac issues and imbalance (a twist in the lower back) made me unable, not the lack of strength. It doesn’t have to be a lack of strength..

  • champakpopat

Hi Ester, you make the full-boat pose appear very easy but in fact it requires good strength in lower back and lower abdomen. I normally do the boat pose with knees bent and shins parallel to the floor. I normally stay for around 8-10 long and even breathes. How long should I practice this (presuming if I do this once a day as a minimum) to gain enough strength to do the full boat pose? Many thanks.

    I will try the routine.

  • stopthemotionnow

het gaat veel te snel het ging beter toen je nog rustig aan deed en waar is de namaste?

  • virabhadraX

My personal favourite is the switched boats pose. Start from normal boat pose, few breaths, than in an exhale lower your feet and upper body but without touching the ground. Stay there for a few breaths than come up with an inhale to the normal boat pose… and so on.

@pandaweige Yes good advice before, put a folded blanket under your tailbone. Also try and sit on your sit bones rather than tailbone… so balance before the tailbone!

    @sien1807
I agree with you!! No way could i lift my whole body with my hands and arms! More yoga to lose weight would be amazing!

  • sien1807

you made it looks so easyy~ but when i try it, it is so much harder than it looks.. esp when im not hv an ideal weight :( could you make yoga vid which can lose weight faster? need it desperately >.<

Esther , I often look at your uploads for inspiration . I started teaching yoga for a coin donation in my community after the february quake that we had , (New Zealand)
I particularly enjoyed your recent videos titled 4 poses to change the way you feel & strength .
Thank you for all that you share with such simple clarity .♥Namaste♥
